In 2026 we'll be debuting two new, completely original stories - but still featuring our favourite characters, Johnny Dollar & Candy Matson. Even if you saw a Great Detectives show last year, you've never seen Heist, Camera, Action!

The Great Detectives franchise is a loving tribute to 1950s radio plays and recordings. At the time actors performed for live audiences with script in hand, as the show broadcast via the radio. Our actors hold the scripts as props, but we assure you they are rehearsed professionals.

Yes! While there are some physical components to the show, the stories can be fully enjoyed and completely understood without watching the performers.

Not at all, this is a very relaxed performance. There are loud sound effects at times.

Latecomers can only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance, which is at the discretion of front of house staff. We urge all patrons to leave plenty of time to travel to the venue to avoid missing any part of the show.
