Great Detectives

Great Detectives is a loving theatrical tribute to the 1950s radio detective serials broadcast from the USA. Combining mystery, intrigue and comedy, the characters of Candy Matson and Johnny Dollar have embarked on numerous cases and found their way into the hearts of Australian audiences of all ages.

Inspired by actual radio serials and adapted or rewritten by Benjamin Maio Mackay, over the last 10 years the Great Detectives franchise has presented 6 unique mysteries. In 2024 Great Detectives makes its long awaited return to the stage with two new thrilling and hysterical tales.
